Letter from the PrincipalLetter from the Principal

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Forest View Educational Community. We are very proud of our school and all that it has to offer the students, staff and parents. Forest View has a mission of Learning for Life. We believe that all children need to develop skills to be productive members of the community and develop their emotional, intellectual and social being.

To support our students and prepare them to be successful for life, our dedicated teachers at Forest View plan instruction that supports all the learners in our school. They work closely together as an instructional team to create challenging learning experiences in all areas of the curriclum. Focusing on the 21st century learning skills, students are encouraged to talk about their learning and explain their thinking. Students work collaboratively in the classroom to reach the designated outcomes for their grade level. We are very proud of the achievements of our students at Forest View and are focused on success for all!

The Forest View Parent Teacher Organization is extremely active in contributing to the success of the students as well. The PTO provides support to the school community by providing cultural arts programs, book fairs, helping needy families, providing supplies and materials for the classrooms and school, but most importantly, volunteering their time. The support of parents and the community is an integral aspect of the success of this school. Working together for the education of all students makes Forest View a great place to learn.

As you can see, Forest View has a great deal to offer everyone in the learning community. To find out more, please explore our website!

Sincerely,
