Announcements:

SIGN UP FOR END-OF-SCHOOL CLASS PARTIES!

Please click on your student’s teacher’s name to sign up as the party planner or a party helper.

 

Party planners plan the party’s activities ahead of time and receive $30 to purchase craft or game supplies for the party. No food or drinks are allowed at the parties! Party helpers attend the parties and help with the games and crafts the party planner has planned. If you have questions about the parties, please email fvpto59@gmail.com.

Show your Forest View Pride!

Order a yard sign to post on your lawn, in your window, on your balcony, or in any room of your choice!

  • “Proud Home of a Forest View Student”
  • Signs are 24 in x 18 in, image on both sides, each comes with a wire stake
  • Cost $8 each

Email fvpto59@gmail.com with the subject line “YARD SIGN ORDER” to place an order.

Payment must be received before a yard/window sign can be picked up or dropped off at your residence.


Events:

  • May 8–12 – Teacher Appreciation Week
  • Friday, May 12, 6:00 p.m. – Bingo Night
  • Wednesday, June 7 – End-of-School Parties and Kona Ice Truck after school
  • PTO Meeting (fourth Tuesday of the month, 7:00 p.m.)
    • Join us in Forest View Room 111
    • Last meeting of the year is Tuesday, May 23! Come to vote in PTO elections!

Role of the PTO

The PTO is able to sponsor a wide range of activities for our children and their families plus provide numerous gifts to the school through fundraising efforts. The PTO has helped pay for field trips and birthday books for all students; provide the 5th grade commemorative shirts, plaque and family breakfast; supplied playground equipment, technological equipment and much, much more for Forest View Elementary.

What can I do to help the Forest View PTO?

  • Attend events with your children
  • Sign up to help at any of the events  
  • Attend meetings and share your thoughts

Membership

All parents/guardians and Forest View staff are considered general members of the PTO. No dues are charged for membership; every parent, guardian, and staff member is welcome!

 

Executive Board members for the 2022–2023 school year:

  • Liz Williams, President
  • Karin Kipp, Vice President and Recording Secretary
  • Beth Combs, Treasurer
