On November 13, 2018, at the Mt. Prospect Village Board Meeting, Mayor Juracek distributed awards for the Mt. Prospect Fire Department’s Annual Fire Safety Poster Contest. Congratulations to Adrianna Mihalev on placing third, citywide, in the kindergarten division and Vanessa Dimitrov for placing second, citywide, in 4^th grade division. They were chosen from over 2000 entries from all the schools in Mt. Prospect. Additionally, Forest View was honored for their 100% participation in the contest – meaning EVERY student at Forest View submitted a poster. This is the third year in a row that Forest View has taken this top honor – along with Robert Frost and St. Raymond’s Schools.

The following students placed 1^st, 2^nd or 3^rd at their grade level at Forest View.

They were then considered for the citywide awards.
