Homework ExpectationsHomework Expectations
Second grade students are expected to read for a MINIMUM of 20 minutes every day of the week. Please record your reading on the home reading sheet and return to school daily. Math practice pages will be sent home Monday through Thursday. Word work will also be sent home (once started) and needs to be practiced for a spelling test on Friday. Occasionally poetry folders are sent home for students to share with their families.
If at anytime you have questions about homework, please do not hesitate to contact me. Homework should not be a drag or take longer than 15 minutes. (Expect reading, of course!)
