Introductory Letter 2015Introductory Letter 2015

Dear Parents,

I wanted to take the opportunity to introduce myself and provide pertinent information to all of you.  My name is Lauren Maxon, I am a speech-language pathologist sharing time between Forest View and Juliette Low Schools.  I am absolutely thrilled to be here in CCSD59, and cannot wait to get to know all of you and your children.

With respect to my credentials, I completed my undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Elmhurst College in 2011, and then completed my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Saint Xavier University in 2013.  I have spent the past two years serving as a speech-language pathologist in a neighboring school district.  I hold professional and educational licenses in the state of Illinois, and a certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

It is my greatest joy to serve children with speech and language needs, communicate with parents, and collaborate with teachers.  Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time if you have questions, concerns, or would like to set up a time to meet.  I can be reached by district e-mail at maxon.lauren@ccsd59.org, or by phone at (847) 593-4359.  My information, and information about speech and language, can be found on my teacher web page through the Forest View Elementary School website.

Best wishes for a fun and productive year together!
